The Steading Aberfeldy

From £144.00 / night

The Steading is a peaceful contemporary B&B at Tullicro, just outside Aberfeldy in Highland Perthshire. Set around 3 miles west of the town in the Upper Tay Valley, it offers a quieter countryside setting while still being close enough for guests to enjoy Aberfeldy’s shops, cafés, walks and local attractions. The property has a modern, architect-designed feel, surrounded by hills and rural scenery, making it a good choice for visitors looking for a more relaxed alternative to a town-centre hotel. Accommodation is offered in individually designed ensuite rooms, with studio kitchen areas and continental breakfast provisions so guests can enjoy a more flexible, private stay. The rooms are designed with comfort in mind, and the property also offers free Wi-Fi, free self-parking, outdoor seating areas, a terrace, garden and firepit. It suits couples, solo travellers and guests who prefer a small, characterful place to stay rather than a larger hotel. The Steading is well placed for exploring Aberfeldy and the wider Perthshire area, including Castle Menzies, Wade’s Bridge, the Black Watch Monument, Aberfeldy Golf Course and The Watermill. Guests can also head towards Loch Tay, Glen Lyon, scenic walking routes, whisky attractions and countryside drives through Highland Perthshire. With its quiet location, stylish rooms and easy access to some of the area’s best scenery, The Steading works well for a restful rural break near Aberfeldy.

Guest Reviews & Ratings

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great location, charming hosts and everything we needed for our short stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect base location very clean and wverything you require for a few nights stay x bed very comfortable and the shower was perfect. Only down side was the the check in time 4pm is a little late in the day would be more beneficial to be from 2pm. Would definitely return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic wee place perfect for couples very quiet, me and the Mrs loved it, you will need a car to get out and about as it quite remote, will definitely stay again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A well designed studio flat with lovely touches, a comfy bed and a good shower. There was a kitchenette with minimal facilities - just enough to do breakfast and microwave the leftover food we had brought with us. (Note there are steep narrow stairs into the flat) Great location near Aberfeldy and Loch Tay, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery in the area. Also, there are some restaurant options and a Coop, a short drive away in Aberfeldy. We would stay here again.
