Roslyn House Tobermory Isle of Mull

From £297.00 / night

Roslyn House in Tobermory is a boutique guest house set in the heart of the town on the Isle of Mull. It has been carefully refurbished with a smart, modern approach, offering self check-in and a relaxed style of luxury that suits visitors who want comfort without the formality of a traditional hotel. Its central Tobermory location puts guests close to the harbour, colourful seafront, local shops, places to eat and attractions such as Mull Museum and Tobermory Distillery. The property has eight individually designed rooms, with a focus on stylish interiors, comfortable furnishings and thoughtful details. Rooms are described as boutique in feel, with private bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities, Wi-Fi and touches such as bathrobes and quality seating. Some rooms offer sea, garden or town views, and the guest house also provides a lounge area and honesty bar, giving it a cosy, grown-up atmosphere after a day exploring the island. Roslyn House is well suited to couples or solo travellers looking for a polished base in Tobermory. Guest feedback commonly praises the comfortable rooms, attractive décor and quiet setting, while noting that the walk back from the harbour can be short but steep. From here, visitors can enjoy Tobermory’s waterfront, boat trips, coastal walks, wildlife watching and wider Isle of Mull scenery, making it a strong choice for a stylish island break

Guest Reviews & Ratings

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful room - a comfortable place that feels like a home. Attention to detail was throughout. From the carpet to the ceiling was quality, and extremely clean. The sunny living room was so comfortable. This beautiful little harbor town had the friendliest folks. The only regret, I didn’t book a longer stay. Side note - I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was too nice not to share. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Found it quite easily and whilst the door lock is as sensitive as described got in ok. Room is a good size, clean and I liked the novel catering solution. Suited perfectly for my visit. Easy parking and a short stroll down to town if steep hills aren't a problem. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful little place, would definitely recommend and stay again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite an unusual place. Fanciful colorful decor, designed by someone with a sense of fun. No visible staff. No reception desk—they tell you the room number and door passcode ahead of time. A well stocked bar, but no bartender—serve yourself honor system payment. Continental breakfast is already in your refrigerator when you arrive, and is high quality (with Prosecco!) and is magically restocked daily. It sounds bizarre but it works. Everything is in good repair and comfortable. Staff is available by phone if you have a problem, which we did and they were very responsive. The big drawback is that walking to the Main Street and harbor, though close, is very steep. Highly recommend driving to the harbor parking lot.
