⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great location nice room close to shops and restaurants staff very friendly and helpful easy parking ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at the Mercure suited me perfectly. I was close to the train station so I could easily walk up & travel to Glasgow, and also have a pleasant stroll along the promenade. The polite barman ensured I had a nice glass of wine to relax at the end of the day. The reception staff gave me a cheery welcome back wave me when I returned in the evening. But the highlight was the seagulls' nest right outside my bedroom window and seeing the 3 babies being cared for by their parents. In general, a very pleasant stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Staff were excellent, couldn’t have been more helpful. Good location and amenities ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff who respond immediately to any need, good bar, delicious breakfast.
